MEET THE TEAM
DENISE WRIGHT BA (Hons) Managing Director With over 400 JPS designs to her name, Denise Wright is a multi award-winning landscape designer, artist and photographer who trained at Walsall Art College then studied Design and Illustration at the prestigious Arts University Bournemouth. Specialising in highly creative designs for complex or sensitive sites in need of planning, BIM and 3D Terrain Modeling, Visualisation and Animation, Denise combines her love of the arts to create truly original landscape design solutions. She is also passionate about developing her team of talented and vibrant designers.
JANINE PATTISON MBALI, MSGD Director Janine Pattison is a multi award-winning landscape designer and horticulturalist who trained with English Heritage at Eltham Palace in London and at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester. A Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, the British Association of Landscape Industries and the Garden Media Guild, Janine is also a highly-qualified RHS horticulturalist. The National Design Director for BALI, she writes regularly for national magazines and newspapers, and is proving to be a highly popular speaker at various horticultural events across the country.
SUE KERR MCIPD, MSc, MBA People & Development Director Sue Kerr joined JPS to offer expert support and guidance with our continued
company philosophy of developing our talented team of designers, mentoring them be the very best they
can be. Sue has over 20 years experience in HR in both large corporations and
SMEs, including running her own HR Consultancy. For the last ten years, Sue has
been working at Director level, helping companies to manage their people strategies in conjunction with their business plan, culture and ethos. An employment law specialist, Sue is also an authorised practitioner of Motivational Maps.
MELISSA KING BA (Hons) Head Of Studio Melissa heads our studio for all Commercial, Private and Care Sector clients. A graduate from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) in Garden Design, she brings experience from both design and practical areas of the industry. An exceptional horticulturalist, Melissa drives the standards in all creative and technical aspects of JPS schemes and their implementation by our in-house design and planting team. Her determination to surpass client expectations, combined with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude has led to tremendous successes delivering our prestigious residential and Signature Collection projects.
LAURA MOORE BA (Hons) Landscape Designer Laura graduated from Inchbald School of Design in London with
Distinction and combines modern, practical design with sophisticated and
sympathetic planting. She is a confident designer with exciting new
ideas and believes that a garden should sit within its setting while
remaining appropriate to the client's aspirations. Laura studied Fine
Art at Oxford Brookes University and embraces design, past and present,
while pushing the boundaries of the preconceived idea of the garden. She
particularly enjoys creating communal spaces and family gardens that
can be used and enjoyed for years to come.
JORDAN LING BA (Hons) Landscape Architect Jordan graduated with a BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture from Kingston University. With a strong appreciation for form, function and natural beauty, Jordan understands the need for green space is crucial to improve the lives and wellbeing of those who live in urban areas. Reflecting the way cities are expanding, he believes there is a real need for well designed civic and private space. A highly thoughtful and creative designer, Jordan produces LCA and LVIAs, Concept Designs, Landscape Designs, Planting Plans, Lighting Plans, Construction Plans and Specification Packs.
CHRIS HULL BSc (Hons) Landscape Designer Chris graduated from Sparsholt College, Hampshire with a BSc (Hons) in Garden Design, also bringing in-depth planting knowledge from his work as a landscape gardener. Having previously studied wildlife conservation, he is extremely passionate about the natural world and has a particular interest in how landscape can positively effect human well-being. Creating spaces that not only meet the needs of the client but also sit perfectly in their wider surroundings, Chris produces JPS Planting Plans, Landscape Plans, Construction Plans, Specification and Tender Packs.
